If you could have your prayers answered, what kind of prayer would you pray? Would you pray for yourself, a relative, or friend? Or would you pray for guidance or a national situation?
Here’s a more important question. Do you believe God answers prayer? Most Christians today would probably affirm: “Yes, I most certainly do.” However, most Christians aren’t asking the question: “Does God answer prayer?” Instead, they are frustrated by these thoughts: “Will God hear me? or Will God answer my prayer?”
Here’s the good news. God does hear our prayers and He’s been waiting for you and me to ASK. And the second part of the good news is:
God has a perfect will about anything and everything that matters in your life. He’s concerned about your personal life, your future, your desires, what school you attend, who you’re going to marry or not marry, your children, spouse, etc. Nonetheless, although He has a perfect will regarding our lives He does not impose that will on us. Prayer is how God implements His will in our lives.
